The Company
This major Irish residential developer has a strong reputation for delivering large-scale housing and apartment developments across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
They are progressing a major new residential development in South Dublin comprising approximately 145 homes across houses, duplexes and apartments, together with new roads, pedestrian and cycle connections, drainage, utilities, landscaping and associated site infrastructure.
The Role: Health and Safety Officer
As Health and Safety Officer, you will be based full-time on this 145 unit residential development in South Dublin, reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager and working closely with the wider site management team.
With houses, duplexes, a multi-storey apartment block and substantial external works involved, this is a varied site where you will take a hands-on role in maintaining Health and Safety standards throughout construction.
Must Have Requirements
You will have at least four years’ construction Health and Safety experience and be comfortable working in a busy residential site environment.
You will be practical, organised and confident dealing with site management, subcontractors and trades, with the ability to maintain high safety standards while keeping construction progress in mind.

- Must have 4+ years’ Health and Safety experience within construction
- A recognised Occupational Health and Safety qualification is required
- Proven experience implementing Health and Safety systems on construction sites
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction Health and Safety requirements
- Residential construction experience preferred
- IOSH membership beneficial
- Experience with an Irish residential developer or main contractor preferred
- Implement and monitor the Health and Safety Management System on site
- Carry out inspections, audits and follow up on non-conformances
- Maintain risk assessments, safety documentation and statutory records
- Work with site management and subcontractors on safe systems of work
- Support incident investigations and deliver toolbox talks
You will have at least four years’ construction Health and Safety experience and be comfortable working in a busy residential site environment.
