You are a Health & Safety Advisor looking to join the team in Cork, where you will oversee and promote best-practice safety procedures across mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring that all activities are compliant with current legislation and internal safety systems.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys engaging with site teams, conducting audits, and fostering a positive safety culture.

Health & Safety Advisor Skills:  
  • A recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry—preferably with exposure to M&E or building services projects
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide others
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites with a hands-on, proactive approach
  • Full clean driving licence

As a Health & Safety Advisor:  
  • Conduct site inspections and audits across multiple M&E project locations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and internal procedures
  • Support project teams in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and safety documentation
  • Monitor implementation of site safety plans, toolbox talks, and behavioural safety initiatives
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Provide advice and support to project managers and site teams on all safety-related matters
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with company safety standards
  • Keep safety records up to date and prepare regular reports for management
  • Participate in client safety audits and liaise with regulatory bodies where required


The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €70,000 plus package.
