We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop a high-performing HSQE function within a growing organisation based in Co. Cork.
This role involves managing a team of 7–8 safety officers and advisors, overseeing policy development, driving cultural improvement, and ensuring full compliance across multiple locations in Ireland and the UK.

Health & Safety Manager Skills:
- Proven experience in a senior health and safety role, ideally managing a multisite function.
- Strong working knowledge of Irish and UK health & safety regulations.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing a safety team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
- Confident in preparing reports, presentations and safety performance updates for senior leadership.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and H&S management systems or software.
- Ability to travel occasionally to regional offices and client sites.
- Full Irish driving licence required.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve health and safety policies and procedures across the organisation.
- Ensure all policies align with relevant legislation, best practice, and organisational requirements.
- Lead a team of safety officers and advisors, driving performance, accountability and consistency.
- Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead investigations into incidents, identify root causes and implement effective preventative measures.
- Develop and deliver HSQE training programmes for employees across all departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation including incident reports, training records, audits and corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure full compliance across Ireland, NI and the UK.
- Liaise with clients, regulators and external stakeholders on all health and safety matters.
- Provide clear and timely safety updates, KPIs and compliance reports to senior leadership.
- Promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
