The Company
A well-established Irish main contractor delivering major construction projects across Dublin and Leinster.
With a strong pipeline of multi-million-euro residential developments, commercial offices and large-scale school projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join the team.
The role will be based in North Dublin, with responsibility for projects across the wider Leinster region.
The Role: Health & Safety Manager
As Health & Safety Manager, you will take a senior role in maintaining and developing health and safety standards across a portfolio of major construction projects.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and senior management, carrying out site inspections and audits, advising project teams and ensuring company procedures and statutory requirements are consistently implemented across all sites.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in the Irish construction industry.
You’ll be comfortable working across multiple projects, engaging directly with site teams and senior management and taking ownership of health and safety standards across busy construction environments.

Must Have Requirements
- Strong Health & Safety experience within the Irish construction industry
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and construction regulations
- Experience carrying out site audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Ability to work effectively with site teams and senior management
- Full driving licence required
- Previous experience with a main building contractor
- Experience across large-scale residential, commercial or education projects
- Experience overseeing health and safety across multiple live construction sites
- Strong knowledge of health and safety management systems and procedures
- Manage health and safety standards across projects throughout Leinster
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements
- Review RAMS, risk assessments and project safety documentation
- Support Project Managers and Site Managers on all health and safety matters
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and site safety performance
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings where required
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and reporting
- Promote a strong safety culture across all projects
You will be an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in the Irish construction industry.
You’ll be comfortable working across multiple projects, engaging directly with site teams and senior management and taking ownership of health and safety standards across busy construction environments.
