Health & Safety Manager – Mechanical & Building Services

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop health, safety and compliance programmes across mechanical, electrical and HVAC maintenance and project delivery work in the Dublin area.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant operations across workshop, maintenance and project environments, including commercial buildings, critical facilities and M&E service activities. You will work closely with senior operations, engineering and site teams to embed a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement in safety standards. Health & Safety Manager Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or senior health & safety leadership role within mechanical, electrical or construction environments
• In-depth knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation, compliance requirements and best practice
• Experience managing safety across multiple locations, including workshop, maintenance and project sites
• Demonstrable experience leading safety programmes in mechanical services, HVAC, building systems or similar industries
• Strong risk assessment, auditing and incident investigation capabilities
• Ability to develop and implement safety policies, procedures and training programmes
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, GradIOSH, IOSH Membership)
• Full clean Irish driving licence

As a Health & Safety Manager:

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental programmes across the businessEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards and internal safety procedures
• Conduct site and workshop safety audits, risk assessments and inspections
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses; produce reports and implement corrective actions
• Provide expert guidance and support to operations, engineering, project and site teams
• Develop and deliver safety training, inductions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns
• Monitor safety performance through KPI reporting and proactive engagement
• Collaborate with senior management to integrate safety into planning and decision-making processes
• Oversee contractor safety management and verification processes
• Promote a positive safety culture, ensuring open communication and shared responsibility

The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a competitive salary of at least €80,000 plus package.
