About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief of People, this is a hands-on and strategic position combining payroll oversight, HR operations, and project delivery. You’ll ensure the smooth running of day-to-day HR functions while leading key initiatives aimed at improving systems, compliance, and employee experience.
Core Responsibilities:
Payroll & Compliance
- Review and validate payroll data across multiple business entities.
- Manage Director-level payroll for Ireland and the UK.
- Liaise with finance, auditors, and external payroll providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential compensation records.
- Provide payroll support across teams to ensure continuity during absences.
- Lead HR initiatives such as policy rollouts, process improvements, and engagement programmes.
- Coordinate stakeholders, track project milestones, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Analyse HR data to support informed decision-making at senior level.
- Offer high-level support to the Chief of People, including scheduling and communications.
- Ensure compliance with HR documentation and records across jurisdictions.
- Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and internal systems.
What You’ll Need?
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Officer with payroll responsibility.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- A sound understanding of HR and payroll legislation in Ireland and the UK.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of key initiatives.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
