The company is delivering a €50m+ commercial office development in South Dublin, involving the construction of a new multi-storey office building with basement works, structural construction and high-quality commercial finishes.
With a strong pipeline of projects across Dublin, they are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support the site management team and maintain high health, safety and environmental standards throughout the development.
The Role: HSE Advisor
This is an HSE Advisor position on a €50m+ commercial office development in South Dublin.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider construction team, you will provide practical health, safety and environmental advice across all stages of the project.
The development involves demolition, basement works, structural construction, multi-storey building works and commercial fit out, requiring careful management of subcontractors, site logistics and high-risk construction activities.
You will be responsible for carrying out inspections and audits, monitoring site safety procedures, supporting incident investigations and ensuring compliance with Irish health and safety legislation.

About You
You are a practical and approachable HSE Advisor with a strong understanding of construction site operations and Irish health and safety requirements.
You will be confident working alongside Site Managers, engineers and subcontractors, providing clear advice and ensuring that safety procedures are followed throughout the construction programme.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify and address potential hazards are essential.
Experience on large commercial developments, particularly multi-storey construction projects, would be beneficial.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience working as an HSE Advisor or Health and Safety Advisor on Irish construction projects is required.
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and construction site safety requirements.
- Proven experience conducting site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working with a main contractor on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Experience overseeing basement works, structural construction or multi-storey developments.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, environmental management systems and construction safety procedures.
- Experience coordinating health and safety requirements across multiple subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical HSE advice and support to site management, employees and subcontractors.
- Carry out regular site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and company HSE procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring accurate reporting and appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety requirements, RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Work closely with site management to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Review corrective actions arising from inspections, audits and incident investigations.
- Support the implementation of environmental management procedures across the project.
- Communicate HSE lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports and compliance documentation.
