You’re a capable and committed Health & Safety Officer with 2+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects, someone who’s taken on real responsibility and driven a proactive safety culture on-site.
Now you’re looking for a fresh challenge: a long-term role on a landmark educational development in Limerick. This is one of the region’s most significant public sector construction projects, involving a combination of new build and retrofit works. You’ll be working closely with a progressive Tier 1 contractor known for its robust safety systems, collaborative approach, and impressive pipeline of projects across the South and West of Ireland.

What You’ll Need:
- 2–3+ years’ Health & Safety experience in the construction sector
- A relevant third-level qualification in Health & Safety or a related discipline
- IOSH membership is a distinct advantage
- Proficient with digital safety systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience conducting inspections, writing RAMS, and delivering toolbox talks
The Role:
- Report to the Senior HSE Manager and liaise with site management
- Foster and maintain a positive health and safety culture on-site
- Carry out regular inspections, audits, and investigations
- Prepare and update site-specific safety documentation
- Deliver safety training and inductions
- Ensure compliance across both retrofit and new-build phases
