The Company
An Irish electrical contractor delivering electrical installation projects across the hospitality, commercial and residential sectors throughout Kerry and Cork.
The company is working on a major five-star hotel redevelopment in Killarney, Co Kerry, with a strong pipeline of further projects across Munster.
They are seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of electrical works on this long-term development.
The Role: Junior Electrical Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager
This is a site-based position on a major hotel redevelopment in Killarney, with works expected to continue until approximately May 2028.
Working alongside an experienced Electrical Project Manager, you will assist with electrical installations, subcontractor coordination, procurement and programme delivery.
The position would suit a Junior Electrical Engineer or electrically qualified professional looking to progress into project management. Intermediate candidates will also be considered, with salary flexibility depending on experience.
Must Have Requirements
You are a Junior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer or electrically qualified professional with practical construction experience and an interest in project management.
You will have strong organisational and communication skills, a good understanding of electrical installations and the ability to work closely with site teams to keep works progressing.

- Previous experience working on electrical construction or installation projects is required.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, installation methods and site coordination.
- Must be available to work full-time on site in Killarney, Co Kerry.
- Previous experience with an electrical contractor on Irish construction projects.
- Experience on hospitality, commercial or high-end residential developments.
- Knowledge of electrical procurement, technical submittals and project documentation.
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of electrical installation works.
- Support the Electrical Project Manager with daily site activities.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
- Monitor progress against the construction programme.
- Assist with procurement, material ordering and technical documentation.
- Liaise with the main contractor, consultants and other trades.
- Ensure electrical works meet relevant quality and safety standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.
You are a Junior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer or electrically qualified professional with practical construction experience and an interest in project management.
You will have strong organisational and communication skills, a good understanding of electrical installations and the ability to work closely with site teams to keep works progressing.
