Based from the company's office in Co Clare, you will travel to active construction sites throughout Clare, Galway, Limerick and the wider western region. The Role: Junior Health & Safety Officer
Reporting to the Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will support the implementation of the company's health and safety management systems across a variety of construction projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Experience within construction, whether through placement, internship or a junior Health & Safety role
- Full clean driving licence is required
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to travel regularly to construction sites across the West of Ireland
Preferred Experience
- Safe Pass and relevant health and safety certifications
- Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
- Experience carrying out site inspections or safety audits is beneficial
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with regular site inspections and safety audits across multiple construction projects
- Support site teams in maintaining compliance with company procedures and current legislation
- Help investigate incidents, near misses and implement corrective actions where required
- Assist in preparing risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation
- Deliver site inductions and support toolbox talks
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports
- Work closely with site management to promote a positive safety culture
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained across all sites
