An expanding civil engineering contractor is currently looking to recruit a Junior Site Engineer for a road infrastructure project in Co. Wexford.
This contractor has built a strong presence across Ireland, delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and general civil works. With a steady pipeline of upcoming projects, they continue to grow their team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 1–3 years of experience to develop their skills on a live infrastructure project, working closely with an experienced site team.
You will gain valuable hands on experience across various stages of the project lifecycle, from initial site setup through to completion, in a supportive and structured environment.

- Carry out setting out duties using Total Station and GPS equipment and contribute to quality checks, record keeping, and reporting on site progress.
- Assist in managing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered in line with project timelines.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with drawings, specifications, and health & safety standards.
- Liaise with design teams and ensure any technical queries are raised and support the site team in the day-to-day coordination of works on site.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a Site Engineer role in Ireland.
- Proficiency in setting out using Total Station and GPS.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
