A well established building main contractor with 40+ years of experience delivering high quality construction projects across Ireland is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join their team.
You’ll be joining an experienced site team on a €multi-million healthcare project in County Sligo involving a significant new-build element alongside extensive civil and external works.
The project will give you excellent exposure to concrete structures, retaining walls, drainage, roads, services, building works and coordination with specialist subcontractors.
The company has a strong presence across the Northwest region, promising long term work across the Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal area.
Working alongside an experienced site team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop and build a long term career with a well established main contractor.

Responsibilities:
- Setting out/surveying using Total Station & GPS equipment, as well as coordinating daily site engineering activities alongside the Senior Engineer.
- Support the Site Manager with quality control, inspections and maintaining accurate site records.
- Check drawings, specifications and technical information to ensure works are completed accurately and to the required standard.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with health & safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 1 year of post graduate experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong experience in setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Strong technical ability with good communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
