This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Site Engineer to join a highly respected Irish Main Contractor on an exciting sports complex project in County Laois.
You’ll be joining a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across Ireland and a particularly hands on approach to developing its staff.
The company has a long history in Irish construction and places a strong emphasis on teamwork, mentoring and giving ambitious Engineers the practical experience and responsibility needed to progress their careers.
The project itself is a substantial new build sports and community development involving a varied mix of building, civil engineering, external works and all associated infrastructure.
For a Junior Engineer, it offers excellent exposure to multiple elements of construction rather than being confined to one repetitive area of a project.

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out setting out and surveying for building, groundworks, drainage, services and external works.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
- Assisting the Site Manager and Project Manager with day-to-day site operations and planning.
- Assisting with inspections and ensuring works meet the required health & safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of postgraduate experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Setting out experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Full Irish Driving Licence.
