With a strong pipeline of work across Galway and the West of Ireland, this contractor is currently delivering a major €50m healthcare development in Galway alongside other significant building projects throughout the western region.

The Role: M&E Coordinator
This is a key M&E Coordinator position working across major construction projects in Galway and the West of Ireland, including a €50m Primary Care Centre development in Galway City.
You will coordinate mechanical and electrical packages from design development through installation, commissioning and final handover, ensuring building services works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Working closely with Project Managers, site management teams, design consultants and specialist M&E subcontractors, you will play an important role in managing technical coordination, resolving installation issues and keeping building services packages progressing across multiple projects.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced M&E Coordinator or Building Services Coordinator with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations on Irish construction projects.
You will be comfortable managing M&E subcontractors, working with design consultants and coordinating building services packages across major construction developments.
Healthcare project experience would be beneficial, although candidates with strong commercial, residential or large scale building project experience will also be considered.
You will have good technical knowledge, strong organisational skills and the ability to resolve coordination issues while keeping installation works moving in line with programme requirements.

The Role: M&E Coordinator
This is a key M&E Coordinator position working across major construction projects in Galway and the West of Ireland, including a €50m Primary Care Centre development in Galway City.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years' experience as an M&E Coordinator, Building Services Coordinator or in a similar building services role.
- Proven experience coordinating mechanical and electrical packages on construction projects in Ireland is required.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical installations, commissioning and handover processes.
- Experience managing M&E subcontractors, consultants and design coordination on major building projects.
- Healthcare construction project experience preferred.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline beneficial.
- Electrical project experience would be an advantage.
- Experience with BIM coordination, Revit, Navisworks or similar construction software beneficial.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical packages across major construction projects in Galway and the West of Ireland.
- Manage M&E subcontractors and ensure installation works progress in line with project programmes.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical design information with consultants, architects and structural teams.
- Oversee HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection and building management system installations.
- Monitor M&E installation progress, quality standards and health and safety compliance.
- Identify and resolve technical clashes and coordination issues before they affect site progress.
- Attend design coordination meetings, site progress meetings and subcontractor reviews.
- Manage M&E snagging, commissioning, testing and final handover documentation.
- Coordinate building services installations with architectural finishes and other construction activities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, programme milestones and package delivery.
- Support the commercial team with M&E package reviews, variations, retentions and subcontractor close-out.
- Assist with tender reviews, technical submissions and procurement where required.
- Ensure mechanical and electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.
