The Role – Mechanical Contracts Manager
As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of mechanical building services projects from pre construction handover through to final completion and defects resolution.
You will oversee project delivery teams across multiple sites, ensuring programmes are achieved, commercial performance is protected and all mechanical installations are delivered safely and to the highest standard. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong operational, contractual and client management experience within the M&E construction sector.
The successful Mechanical Contracts Manager will play a key role in driving project performance, supporting Project Managers and ensuring successful delivery of complex mechanical packages across fast paced construction environments.

Salary: Excellent Salary Package €110,000 - €120,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple mechanical building services projects simultaneously
- Coordinate Project Managers, site teams and specialist subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
- Manage client relationships and chair progress meetings with stakeholders
- Oversee compliance with JCT and NEC contract requirements
- Monitor project costs, variations, extensions of time and commercial performance
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and ensure compliance with RAMS and CDM regulations
- Drive quality assurance, commissioning and snagging processes
- Develop recovery plans for projects at risk of delay or overspend
- Provide detailed operational and financial reporting to senior leadership
- Support pre construction handovers and contract launch meetings
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement across the business
- 7 years’ experience in Mechanical Project Management or Contracts Management
- Strong background within the M&E or building services construction sector
- Experience delivering mechanical packages on large scale construction projects
- Excellent understanding of mechanical systems, installation sequencing and project delivery
- Proven knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing CVRs and project profitability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead site teams across multiple live projects
- SMSTS and Black CSCS Card essential
- NEBOSH qualification highly desirable
- Degree, HNC or HND in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
