The Company
This growing mechanical contractor has built a strong reputation delivering mechanical packages for some of Ireland's best-known main contractors across Dublin and the surrounding counties. Their projects range from commercial and residential developments to healthcare, education and mixed-use schemes, with mechanical contract values typically between €1 million and €2 million.
Due to continued growth and a healthy order book, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their Dublin team. The role is currently based from a major North Dublin project with plans to move into a serviced office in North Dublin as the business continues to expand.
The Role: Mechanical Contracts Manager
This is a hands-on Mechanical Contracts Manager position overseeing multiple projects across Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area. You will typically manage two to three mechanical projects simultaneously, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The successful Mechanical Contracts Manager will attend client meetings, site meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings while maintaining full commercial and operational control of each project. This role would particularly suit someone based in North Dublin, Meath, Louth, Kildare or surrounding counties.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with a strong background delivering mechanical building services projects in Ireland. You understand the commercial, technical and operational aspects of project delivery and are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across several live projects.
You have excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability and the confidence to lead teams while maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. You are commercially focused, highly organised and capable of delivering projects to demanding programmes and budgets.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager in the Irish market
- Proven experience required managing mechanical building services projects for a mechanical or M&E contractor
- Strong HVAC knowledge and experience delivering mechanical packages valued between €1 million and €2 million
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent commercial awareness with strong budgeting and cost control experience
- Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred
- Experience working with leading Irish main contractors
- Knowledge of BIM, mechanical coordination and building modelling
- Experience across commercial, residential, healthcare or education projects
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience with modern construction management software
- Additional health and safety qualifications
- Experience managing direct labour and subcontractor teams
- Manage the successful delivery of multiple mechanical projects across Dublin and surrounding counties
- Prepare project programmes, budgets and project initiation documentation
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within agreed budgets
- Maintain full compliance with all statutory, regulatory and health and safety requirements
- Manage client relationships and attend regular project progress meetings
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Issue purchase orders and manage procurement activities
- Oversee applications for payment, valuations and variation management
- Monitor project performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Resolve technical, programme and commercial challenges as they arise
- Ensure high-quality installation standards are achieved on every project
