This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work alongside a team of dedicated professionals on award-winning, multi-million-euro projects in either Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny & Westmeath.
As the M&E Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless coordination of all building services, from tender through to commissioning and handover. You’ll lead services teams, manage coordination processes, and oversee installations to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.

As a M&E Coordinator:
- A degree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally with a strong focus on residential projects.
- A solid understanding of how building systems work, with expertise in at least one services discipline.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing trades and leading progress meetings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
M&E Coordinator Skills:
- Reporting to the Services Manager, assist in managing M&E elements of projects from tender through to handover.
- Oversee tendering for M&E packages, including lifts, pool equipment, sprinklers, and specialist systems.
- Lead pre-award and contract award meetings, ensuring project requirements are clear and achievable.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations throughout the coordination process.
- Manage the production of coordination and builder’s work drawings, including BIM integration.
- Chair services workshops and technical meetings, ensuring collaborative problem-solving.
- Review and manage technical submissions, samples approval, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor on-site installations, chair site meetings, and liaise with utility providers to ensure progress aligns with the project programme.
- Oversee commissioning, snagging, and the production of O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
- Ensure compliance with BCAR requirements and manage the handover process, including client demonstrations.
- Provide post-handover support to the client and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
