Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC, piping, and building services.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other engineering tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in managing projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey technical information to clients and team members.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Meticulous attention to detail in design and project execution to ensure quality and compliance.
As a Mechanical Engineer:
- Lead the design, analysis, and specification of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing for commercial and industrial projects. Ensure all designs meet the required standards and regulations.
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion. This includes preparing project timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed within the agreed scope and schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including junior engineers and site personnel. This involves troubleshooting issues, making recommendations, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects on-site.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions that meet their needs. Ensure clear communication and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all mechanical systems and components are designed and installed to the highest quality standards. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards. Promote a safety-first culture within the team and on-site.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering, HVAC systems, and building services. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in design and processes.
