The Role: Mechanical Package Manager
Based on a major data centre development in Dublin, Co Dublin, you will take responsibility for managing the mechanical package from installation through to handover. Working closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, consultants, and specialist subcontractors, you will ensure all mechanical works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
This Mechanical Package Manager role will suit someone with strong HVAC and mechanical services experience who enjoys coordinating multiple work fronts while maintaining quality, safety, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Mechanical Package Manager with a strong background delivering mechanical building services packages on large construction projects. You understand the importance of programme management, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and health and safety within a live site environment.
You are highly organised, communicate effectively with clients and site teams, and have the technical knowledge to manage complex HVAC and mechanical installations from planning through commissioning.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years' experience in a Mechanical Package Manager or Mechanical Project Manager role with a building services or engineering contractor.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale mechanical services packages on mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or similar complex construction projects.
- Experience working within an Irish or European construction contracting environment is essential.
- Previous data centre project experience would be highly advantageous.
- Process plant or water treatment installation experience is beneficial.
- Experience managing mechanical subcontractors through installation and commissioning.
- Familiarity with BCAR documentation and O&M handover processes.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and digital project management platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing variations.
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Manage the mechanical package from pre-construction planning through installation and final handover.
- Coordinate mechanical subcontractors to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Develop and review method statements and risk assessments for all mechanical activities.
- Work closely with project planning teams to maintain short-term look ahead programmes.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and project stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Assist the commercial team with variations, valuations, and change management.
- Maintain accurate as-built records, commissioning documentation, O&M manuals, and BCAR submissions.
- Support successful testing, commissioning, and final project completion.
