Based in Dublin, your new team is committed to excellence in building services engineering, from design through to installation and commissioning.

Because of a growing team they are now seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer you will play a key role in coordinating, managing, and delivering mechanical building services projects from concept to handover, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Mechanical Project Engineer Skills:  
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Engineer role within the building services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services systems.
  • Familiarity with Irish building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full driving licence preferred.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer:  
  • Coordinate and manage the mechanical aspects of building services projects on-site.
  • Review mechanical designs, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure project delivery aligns with programme and budget.
  • Supervise site works and support commissioning activities.
  • Ensure works comply with current health and safety legislation and company HSEQ procedures.
  • Track project progress, report updates, and attend site/project meetings.
  • Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical support and input during design coordination workshops and construction phases.


The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €65,000 plus package.
