Mechanical Project Manager Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the mechanical services sector, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and more.
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or project management.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think strategically under pressure.
- Experience working in the commercial, residential, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, or other design software.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and contracts.
- Irish construction experience.
As a Mechanical Project Manager
- Lead and manage mechanical systems projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively.
- Manage the procurement process for all mechanical equipment and materials required for projects.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues that arise.
- Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and timelines.
