Job title: Mechanical Project Manager – Data Centre
Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands

Salary: Up to €110,000 DOE
The Company
A specialist Irish mechanical engineering contractor delivering mechanical installation, pipework, fabrication and off-site solutions across Ireland and Europe.
With a strong pipeline of data centre and industrial work, the company is expanding its European delivery team and is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee projects in Amsterdam.
The Role: Mechanical Project Manager
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on projects in Amsterdam, working on a European rotation.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You will oversee tradesmen and site crews, coordinate work fronts, deal with issues as they arise and keep the mechanical programme moving.
You will work closely with site supervisors, engineering teams and senior management to ensure labour, materials and information are in place when required.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Construction Manager or senior mechanical supervisor who understands how to run mechanical works on site.
You need to be practical, organised and comfortable managing trades directly. The company is looking for someone who can see what needs to happen next, deal with problems early and keep the job moving.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, pipework and fabrication
- Must be comfortable working on European rotations
- Data centre or industrial project experience preferred
- Previous European construction experience beneficial
- Mechanical trade or engineering background advantageous
- Manage day-to-day mechanical works on site in Amsterdam
- Oversee tradesmen, supervisors and specialist subcontractors
- Drive progress and keep works aligned with the construction programme
- Coordinate labour, materials, plant and work fronts
- Monitor installation quality and resolve site issues quickly
- Work closely with engineering and fabrication teams
- Coordinate with other trades to prevent clashes and delays
- Maintain high health and safety standards across mechanical works
- Report progress, labour requirements and programme issues to senior management
