The Role – Mechanical QC Lead

As Mechanical QC Lead, you will take full ownership of mechanical quality control on a large-scale data centre project in Denmark. You will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical installations meet design specifications, industry standards and commissioning requirements.

This is a key leadership role on site, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives to maintain quality standards while supporting programme delivery. Your input will directly impact project handover, system performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical quality control across HVAC, pipework and associated mechanical systems
  • Carry out inspections at key stages including pre-installation, in-progress and final sign-off
  • Manage QA/QC documentation including RFIs, inspections and punch lists
  • Work closely with subcontractors and site teams to resolve quality issues efficiently
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure systems are ready for testing and handover
  • Act as the main point of contact for all mechanical quality-related queries on site
  • Ensure compliance with EU standards, project specifications and health and safety requirement
  • Maintain strong communication with project management and client teams
About You

  • Proven experience in a Mechanical QC Lead or Senior Mechanical QA/QC role on large construction projects
  • Background in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or semiconductor projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical QA/QC processes, inspections and documentation
  • Experience supporting commissioning and project handover phases
  • Ability to manage and influence subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail-focused with a structured approach to quality and problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-value project environment
