MEICA Project Manager | Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

This role is with a long-established Irish contractor delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects nationwide. Known for strong delivery across MEICA and civil works, they have built a reputation for reliability, safety and high-quality project execution. With a solid pipeline of framework projects, they offer long-term stability and real progression for experienced engineers and project managers.
The Role – MEICA Project Manager
You will take full ownership of MEICA project delivery across water and wastewater schemes, leading site teams and specialist subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage everything from planning and procurement through to delivery, reporting and client interaction, with a strong focus on quality, safety and programme performance.

Salary: €75,000 to €90,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of MEICA works across water and wastewater projects from start to completion.
- Ensure full implementation of HSQE systems, safety procedures and site compliance.
- Manage and coordinate site teams including engineers, supervisors, operatives and subcontractors.
- Plan construction activities and manage programme to meet key project milestones.
- Oversee resource planning including labour, plant, materials and specialist subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders, attending regular progress meetings.
- Monitor project performance across programme, cost, quality, risk and reporting.
- Review and manage drawings, specifications, contracts and technical documentation.
- Support procurement, supplier engagement and subcontractor negotiation.
- Ensure all changes to scope and specifications are recorded and managed correctly.
- Prepare progress reports, valuations, forecasts and project documentation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing and future work.
- Degree qualified in engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience as a Project Manager on MEICA, water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and civil integration on site.
- Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors and project delivery.
- Solid knowledge of health and safety, programme management and reporting.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and forecasts.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach.
- Chartered status or working towards it is an advantage.
- Full clean driving licence.
