We are seeking an MEP Estimator with a strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing background to play a key role on high-value construction and engineering projects based out of Co. Kildare.
This is a technically-driven role involving cost estimating, tender preparation, and pre-construction support for complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across industrial, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute to major projects for high-profile clients, working closely with design, project, and procurement teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and high-quality bids.

MEP Estimator Skills:
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) background with experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, or commercial projects.
- Proven experience preparing detailed estimates, tenders, and cost plans for complex MEP works.
- Knowledge of MEP design drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and construction standards.
- Ability to review project documentation and identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
- Strong proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Suitable for candidates with hands-on MEP experience or relevant mechanical, electrical, or plumbing qualifications.
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on major projects.
- Review client specifications, drawings, and tender documentation to produce competitive bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to ensure constructability and feasibility.
- Identify risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for value engineering.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing.
- Support pre-construction planning and tender presentations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all estimating processes, assumptions, and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and relevant regulations.
