The Company
This international engineering contractor delivers complex data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, and power infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe.
With a substantial pipeline of mission-critical projects secured across Europe, the company continues to expand its specialist delivery teams and is seeking an experienced OFCI Manager to support a major data centre project in Denmark.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading contractor delivering some of Europe's largest and most technically advanced construction projects.
The Role: OFCI Manager
The OFCI Manager will take responsibility for the end-to-end coordination, management, and delivery of all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with client teams, equipment vendors, construction teams, commissioning teams, QA/QC personnel, and project leadership, you will ensure all OFCI packages are procured, tracked, delivered, installed, commissioned, and handed over in line with programme requirements.
This role is critical to the successful delivery of large-scale data centre infrastructure projects where complex equipment packages require close coordination between multiple stakeholders.

You are an organised and detail-focused construction professional who understands the importance of equipment coordination on complex projects.
You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, driving programme performance, and ensuring critical equipment packages are delivered without impacting project schedules.
You have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving in fast-paced project environments.

Must Have Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
- Proven experience in equipment coordination, package management, construction delivery, or commissioning environments.
- Strong understanding of project sequencing, logistics, installation workflows, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Previous OFCI management or vendor management experience.
- Experience managing major equipment packages on large-scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of commissioning and handover procedures.
- Experience working with international suppliers and project teams.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and compliance processes.
- Knowledge of European standards including IEC and EN regulations.
- Experience on large-scale international data centre developments.
- Experience managing factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing activities.
- Exposure to digital project management and reporting systems.
- Take ownership of all OFCI equipment packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain OFCI tracking registers and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vendor progress against project milestones and programme requirements.
- Act as the primary interface between client teams, vendors, suppliers, construction teams, and QA/QC personnel.
- Lead vendor coordination meetings, logistics reviews, and equipment progress meetings.
- Track manufacturing schedules, factory acceptance testing activities, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate shipping, customs clearance, and site delivery sequencing.
- Ensure all equipment arrives with the required documentation, certifications, and compliance records.
- Manage goods receipt inspections and equipment verification processes.
- Monitor storage conditions and preservation requirements for critical equipment.
- Coordinate material movement from storage locations to installation areas.
- Work closely with construction teams to ensure installation readiness.
- Integrate OFCI activities into overall project schedules and delivery programmes.
- Monitor installation progress and resolve access, sequencing, and coordination issues.
- Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Support QA/QC teams with inspections, testing, and compliance activities.
- Manage inspection test plans, NCR close-out activities, and quality documentation.
- Support site acceptance testing, commissioning activities, and energisation planning.
- Prepare detailed weekly reports on equipment status, risks, delays, and mitigation measures.
- Coordinate equipment readiness for commissioning, handover, and client acceptance.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete prior to system handover.
