A well-established Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced engineer with strong leadership abilities to manage a project efficiently, coordinate teams, and ensure the successful delivery of the works. The project itself is an ongoing public realm/infrastructure which is focused on enhancing urban infrastructure, pedestrian-friendly spaces, and public amenities. The role offers a step up for an experienced Civil Engineer seeking a more senior position with increased responsibility, such as mentoring junior engineers and managing site teams, which are valuable for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and local authorities to maintain smooth project progress.
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, health & safety regulations, and environmental considerations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience as an Engineer with an Irish Main Contractor preferably on civils projects.
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including local authorities, consultants, and site teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive projects forward.
