We are seeking a MEICA Engineer to support a growing programme of upgrade and replacement works across water and wastewater treatment facilities in the North West based out of Roscommon.
This role will suit an engineer with a background in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control or automation who wants to take ownership of technically challenging projects across essential infrastructure.
You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering capital replacement works on treatment plants and pumping stations, ensuring operational reliability and long-term performance.
The position offers a mix of office and site-based work and the chance to work closely with operations, maintenance and process teams. You’ll be involved from early scoping through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover, contributing directly to improvements across critical water services.
Your new role sits within an expanding operations and maintenance environment that supports a broad DBO portfolio.

MEICA Engineer Skills:

MEICA Engineer Skills:
- Engineering experience in a mechanical, electrical, or ICA-focused environment.
- Ability to manage and deliver upgrade works across treatment plants and pumping stations.
- Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and operational requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Understanding of safety systems and onsite compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with operations teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency with MS Office; project management software experience is a bonus.
- Full EU/Irish driving licence required.
- Coordinate capital upgrade works across water and wastewater treatment assets.
- Work with design and operational teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Prepare project plans, manage budgets, and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Supervise site activities and subcontractors to ensure safe, quality-driven delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, commissioning plans and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and project alignment.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities through to final handover.
