The Role – Construction Project Manager (Healthcare)
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of a major healthcare construction project in Limerick. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, commercial team, and site-based staff to ensure successful delivery of the project within programme, budget, and to the highest quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the on-site delivery of a major healthcare build from breaking ground to final handover

  • Manage project programmes, budgets, subcontractors, and direct labour resources

  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety (HSE) regulations and construction industry standards

  • Oversee progress reporting, quality control, and risk management processes

  • Interface with design teams, consultants, and client representatives

  • Drive high standards of quality assurance and safety performance across all site activities

  • Mentor and manage site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors

  • Identify and resolve issues affecting project delivery, cost, or timelines

  • Monitor progress against construction schedules and milestones using tools such as MS Project or Powerproject

Ideal Candidate – Project Manager Profile:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with a recognised Main Contractor

  • Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale commercial or healthcare builds

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and contractual obligations

  • Strong commercial awareness with proven budget management and cost control ability

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, PowerProject or similar planning software
