Project Manager – High Voltage / Renewable Energy Projects You are an experienced Project Manager ready to take ownership of major electrical and renewable energy projects across Ireland and the UK. Working with a specialist engineering contractor delivering high-voltage and medium-voltage infrastructure, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage projects from early planning through delivery, handover and completion.

This role is suited to a motivated Project Manager with strong electrical experience (and ideally some civil exposure) who is looking to join a progressive company with an excellent pipeline of grid, renewable, utility and energy-sector projects throughout Ireland and the UK.

Project Manager – Skills & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with 5 years’ experience.
  
  
• Proven track record delivering large-scale HV/MV, grid connection, or renewable energy projects.
  
  
• Strong leadership ability with experience managing teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  
  
• Excellent planning, communication and client-facing skills.
  
  
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, risk, procurement, quality, and H&S compliance.
  
  
• Strong technical background with confidence making key project decisions.
  
  
• Flexible to travel within Ireland & UK as required.
  
  
• Highly motivated, independent, and capable of driving performance and productivity on site.
  
  

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Take full ownership of major electrical and renewable energy projects from inception to handover.
  
  
• Lead, motivate and coordinate project teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery.
  
  
• Manage project planning, scheduling, resourcing and cost control.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with clients, design teams, contractors and senior stakeholders.
  
  
• Drive adherence to safety standards, quality systems and project governance.
  
  
• Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
  
  
• Manage procurement, subcontractor selection and contract administration.
  
  
• Monitor project risks, issues and opportunities, implementing solutions and mitigation plans.
  
  
• Ensure all works are delivered to client standards and statutory compliance.
  
  
• Oversee project reporting, progress tracking, commercial updates and final sign-off.
