About the Role:
You will lead the delivery of all civil engineering and groundworks elements of a large-scale housing development. About the Role:
You will lead the delivery of all civil engineering and groundworks elements of a large-scale housing development. From site infrastructure and drainage through to roads, utilities, and hard landscaping, you will ensure all works are executed to the highest quality, safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the planning and delivery of civil and groundworks packages.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Drive HSEQ standards across every stage of the project.
- Manage programmes, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Resolve issues proactively and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to site-based staff.
What You Need:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager in civils/groundworks.
- Proven track record managing large-scale residential or civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering processes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage cost and programme effectively.
