About the Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and Senior QS, you will support the commercial delivery of residential projects from pre-construction through to handover. Based at head office with regular site interaction, you’ll play a central role in managing project finances and ensuring value is delivered across every phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with company procedures
  
  
• Support pre-construction activity including tender analysis, cost planning, and benchmarking
  
  
• Review, negotiate, and manage subcontractor agreements and commercial terms
  
  
• Track project budgets, conduct cost forecasting, and prepare detailed monthly reports
  
  
• Assist with valuations, payment applications, and contract compliance
  
  
• Liaise with internal teams across design, development, and delivery to ensure cost efficiency
  
  
• Identify commercial risks, propose value engineering solutions, and uphold governance standards
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline
  
  
• 3 to 6 years’ experience, ideally gained with a main contractor, developer, or PQS firm
  
  
• Experience working on residential or large-scale commercial projects
  
  
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management platforms
  
  
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  
  
• Ability to multitask across a portfolio of fast-moving projects
