Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to work on a major, long-term data centre project in Dublin, with real responsibility and room to progress?

We’re working with a well-established construction contractor delivering a large-scale data centre development in Dublin, who are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with Quantity Surveyors at multiple levels.

This is a site-based role offering exposure to a technically complex project, where you’ll take ownership of cost control, subcontract procurement and commercial management across defined packages of work. You’ll work closely with senior project leadership, subcontractors and client-side stakeholders to ensure strong commercial outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

This Role May Suit:
  • Intermediate Quantity Surveyors ready to take on larger, more complex packages

  • Commercial professionals with experience managing multiple subcontract packages

  • Quantity Surveyors seeking exposure to data centre or mission-critical construction

Quantity Surveyor Skills & Experience:
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar

  • Typically 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor or commercial role

  • Strong understanding of building construction methods and sequencing

  • Experience procuring and managing subcontract packages

  • Familiarity with standard methods of measurement

  • Confident communicator, able to build effective working relationships

  • Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills

  • Experience using CostX, Buildsoft or similar software is advantageous

  • Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or large commercial project experience is beneficial

As a Quantity Surveyor, You Will:
  • Support the senior project team in procuring subcontract packages and key work elements

  • Prepare budgets, quantified work packages and tender documentation

  • Analyse and present tender returns with clear commercial recommendations

  • Prepare, negotiate and agree subcontract documentation

  • Manage subcontract packages from order through to final account

  • Administer monthly valuations, variations, claims and cost reporting

  • Maintain accurate cost control and financial forecasting

  • Engage proactively with clients, subcontractors, designers and internal teams

  • Submit contractually compliant commercial documentation

  • Negotiate variations, omissions and final accounts in a professional manner

  • Prepare regular cost/value and cash flow reports

  • Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team where required
