Job title: Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre
Location: Skellefteå, Västerbotten County, Sweden
Company: International Data Centre Contractor
Package: Up to €100,000 DOE + €250 net weekly allowance + accommodation + flights
The Company
This international data centre contractor delivers large-scale mission-critical projects across Europe, providing turnkey delivery from design and construction through to commissioning.
They are currently delivering a major data centre project in Skellefteå, Sweden and are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to strengthen the commercial team on site.
The Role: Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of a large-scale data centre project in Skellefteå, working closely with the wider commercial and project delivery teams.
You will be involved across subcontractor management, procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts, helping to maintain commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background and practical experience across subcontractor management, procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
You should be commercially aware, organised and comfortable working closely with site and commercial teams on a large-scale project. Data centre or mission-critical experience would be particularly relevant for this position.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 3–5 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a similar discipline required.
- Proven experience in cost control, procurement and contract administration required.
- Hands-on experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and variations required.
- Data centre or mission-critical construction experience preferred.
- Experience on large-scale construction projects beneficial.
- Previous experience working on European projects advantageous.
- Support the commercial and contractual management of the data centre project.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
- Support subcontractor tendering, evaluation and contract administration.
- Manage subcontractor accounts including valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
- Evaluate and process change orders and variations in line with contract requirements.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers and site teams on cost management.
- Attend commercial meetings, site meetings and project reviews.
- Maintain accurate commercial and contractual documentation.
- Support the preparation of financial reports for senior management.
- Assist with the resolution of commercial and contractual issues throughout project delivery.
