What you’ll get in return The base salary for the position is negotiable but expected to be approx. €60,000 - €70,000 + matched pension, 10% bonus, full family healthcare, additional annual leave, as well as the opportunity to secure long term work in Galway with one of Ireland's most exciting companies.

Quantity Surveyor Criteria:
- Minimum 3+ yrs Post-Graduate experience with a Main Contractor / Consultant
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
- Experience on large construction projects with a Main Contractor / Consultant
- Residential experience beneficial but not mandatory
- An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
As Quantity Surveyor
- Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
- Advise on contractual matters – general and project level
- Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
- Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
- Reporting on budgets and variations
- Negotiate and agree subcontractors
