The Role: Quantity Surveyor
Based from the Co Galway office, this Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of major building and civils projects. Reporting directly to the Director, you'll be involved in every stage of the commercial process, supporting project delivery from procurement through to final account.
The position would suit a Quantity Surveyor with 2 to 3 years' postgraduate experience who wants broader project exposure, increased responsibility and genuine career progression within a specialist consultancy.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 2 to 3 years' postgraduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and contractors.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working alongside Irish main contractors.
- Knowledge of both building and civil engineering projects.
- Familiarity with standard forms of construction contract.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting skills.
Nice to Have
- Progressing towards Chartered status or an ambition to achieve chartership.
- Experience using CostX or similar quantity surveying software.
- Full driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the commercial management of major building and civils projects.
- Prepare cost plans, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Support procurement and subcontractor package management.
- Prepare commercial reports and project cost forecasts.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and design teams throughout project delivery.
- Attend project meetings and carry out site visits as required.
- Report directly to the Director on project performance and commercial matters.
- Maintain accurate project records and financial documentation.
