Job title: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer – HVAC / Mechanical Services

Package: €55,000 to €65,000 + package
The Company This growing Irish mechanical services contractor delivers installation, maintenance and fit out works across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
Their work covers refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, chilled water, ventilation, plumbing and building management systems, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and reliable service delivery.
They are now looking for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join their Dublin team on a permanent basis.
The Role: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer Based across projects and client sites in Dublin, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and ensure HVAC and refrigeration equipment is operating safely and efficiently. The role will also involve completing service reports and advising clients where improvements or further maintenance works are required.
You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work both independently and alongside the wider mechanical team.
Must Have Requirements
You should be confident fault finding, diagnosing problems and carrying out repairs without needing constant supervision. Good communication, timekeeping and attention to detail are important, particularly when working directly with clients.
A Safe Pass, Manual Handling certification, F-Gas certification and full clean Irish driving licence are required for this position.

Must Have Requirements
- Must be a fully qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Technician with a completed refrigeration apprenticeship
- Minimum 3 to 4 years post trade experience required
- F-Gas certification is essential
- Strong working knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components
- Full clean Irish driving licence required
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive HVAC maintenance
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic experience
- Experience dealing directly with clients on maintenance and service works
- Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
- Install refrigeration and air conditioning systems in line with project and client requirements
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair faults across refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Complete fault finding across electrical and mechanical components
- Identify system improvements to increase performance and energy efficiency
- Liaise with clients, Maintenance Managers and project teams
- Complete service reports detailing works completed, parts used and follow up recommendations
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle where provided
- Respond to occasional emergency call outs and out of hours works
- Ensure all works comply with relevant health and safety, quality and environmental procedures
