As a RGII Boiler Maintenance Technician:
- Relevant trade qualification and/or third-level certification is essential.
- RGII license and Safepass certification are mandatory.
- OFTEC certification is advantageous but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with strong boiler fault-finding expertise.
- Proven track record in plumbing and heating systems maintenance.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Full driving license is required.
RGII Boiler Maintenance Technician Skills:
- Perform preventive maintenance on gas boilers, HVAC units, and associated mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and quality control standards on-site.
- Adhere to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, promoting professionalism and quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with the service desk to address technical and non-technical queries promptly, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Implement and maintain best practices, encouraging continuous improvement within the team.
- Provide after-hours site cover on a rotational basis.
- Manage tasks efficiently within set timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
