They are currently seeking an experienced Section Manager to join their team on a major construction project in South Wicklow, with a strong pipeline of further work across the region.
The Role: Section Manager
This is a permanent Section Manager position on a major energy infrastructure project in South Wicklow.
You will take responsibility for managing a defined section of the construction works, overseeing site operations, subcontractors, forepersons, logistics and quality control to ensure project targets are achieved.
Working alongside the Project Manager, you will coordinate construction activities, manage resources and ensure works are properly sequenced to maintain programme delivery and minimise reworking.
The role involves responsibility for health and safety, site logistics, labour, plant, deliveries and the effective coordination of construction and finishing trades.

About You
You are an experienced Section Manager or Site Manager with a strong background in main contracting and large scale building projects.
You understand the importance of subcontractor coordination, site logistics and construction sequencing, particularly where multiple trades are working across different areas of a project.
You are organised, practical and confident managing forepersons and subcontractors while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
You have the experience to take responsibility for your section of the works and deliver against agreed programme targets.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years' site management experience across commercial, industrial, residential, fit out or refurbishment projects.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors, forepersons and construction activities on large building projects.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality control, site logistics and construction programme delivery.
- Experience managing labour, plant, materials and site resources.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working with a Tier 1 or large main contractor in Ireland.
- Experience delivering industrial, energy infrastructure or technically demanding construction projects.
- Familiarity with Procore, Dalux or similar construction management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily construction activities across your assigned section of the project.
- Supervise subcontractors, forepersons and site teams to achieve programme targets.
- Implement company HSEQ systems and maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Oversee site set up, security, logistics, deliveries and traffic management.
- Coordinate construction activities and finishing trades to minimise delays and reworking.
- Monitor labour, plant, materials and site overheads.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain the construction programme.
- Manage quality inspections, site records and progress reporting.
- Identify site issues and coordinate solutions to maintain productivity.
