A leading Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to take a leading role in the delivery of a substantial civils package on major data centre project in Co. Wicklow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Civil Engineer who is ready to step away from a purely technical role and progress into project management, taking greater ownership of site operations, programme delivery and the wider project team.
You'll be responsible for overseeing a substantial package of civil engineering works, including earthworks, foundations, drainage, underground services and associated infrastructure, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The position offers genuine autonomy and the opportunity to develop your management experience while remaining closely involved in the technical and operational side of civil engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of a major civil engineering package, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring resources are effectively managed throughout the project.
- Oversee earthworks, foundations, drainage, utilities and associated civil engineering activities, resolving technical and operational challenges as they arise.
- Liaise directly with the main contractor, design teams and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and smooth coordination of site activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience working on civil engineering or groundworks projects in Ireland.
- Strong technical background in earthworks, foundations, drainage and utilities.
- Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and managing sections of works.
