Job title: Senior Design Lead – Data centres/Pharma
Location: Cork (North)

Package: €65,000 to €70,000 package
The Company
This established fit out and modular construction specialist has over 30 years’ experience delivering technically detailed projects for major clients in Ireland and internationally.
Based in Co Cork, the business has strong expertise across design detailing, design management, engineering, BIM and project delivery, taking complex designs through fabrication, modular manufacture and installation on site.
The Role: Design Lead
This Design Lead role is based in Co Cork, working with the wider design and BIM team across fit out and modular construction projects at various stages.
The role would suit an experienced Design Coordinator ready to step up, or an established Design Lead looking to take greater ownership of projects from design through fabrication and construction.
You will manage design workloads, lead the BIM modelling team and coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure technical issues are resolved and designs are delivered accurately and to programme.
Must Have Requirements
You will have a strong technical background in BIM, design coordination or design to fabrication, ideally within fit out, modular construction or a similar specialist construction environment.
You could be an experienced Design Coordinator or Senior BIM Coordinator ready for greater project responsibility, or an established Design Lead looking for more ownership of design, BIM and delivery.
You will be confident with AutoCAD and Revit, technically strong and comfortable coordinating information between design, fabrication and site teams while keeping projects moving to programme.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years’ experience within a design to fabrication environment
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and BIM is required
- Proven experience coordinating or leading design through to construction stages
- Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations is require
- Fit out or modular construction experience preferred
- Relevant design, drafting, engineering or construction qualification beneficial
- Navisworks, Plant 3D or BIM 360 experience beneficial
- Site-based project delivery experience would be an advantage
- Lead design and BIM delivery from design through fabrication and construction
- Manage project workloads, design deliverables and programme deadlines
- Lead the BIM modelling team and oversee QA/QC of drawings and models
- Coordinate design with clients, subcontractors and site teams
- Drive clash detection, federated model coordination and technical issue resolution
- Support site delivery through drawing updates, surveys and installation verification
