The Company
Our client is one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 main contractors, delivering some of the country’s most high-profile commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, industrial and mission-critical developments.
They operate at serious scale, typically delivering projects in the €20m–€200m range, with a strong pipeline across Dublin and Leinster. Known for innovation, structured delivery systems and a “right first time” culture, they place Health, Safety and Environmental performance at the core of every build.
Following continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor to support major live projects in the Dublin region.
The Role – Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor
This is a key site-based leadership role focusing on the implementation of best-in-class EHS standards across large, technically complex projects. You’ll work closely with Project and Site Teams, contractors and subcontractors to drive a proactive EHS culture from mobilisation through to handover.

The Role – Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor
This is a key site-based leadership role focusing on the implementation of best-in-class EHS standards across large, technically complex projects. You’ll work closely with Project and Site Teams, contractors and subcontractors to drive a proactive EHS culture from mobilisation through to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the project EHS Management System in line with company and statutory standards.
- Promote a strong, positive safety culture across site management, subcontractors and direct labour.
- Conduct and report on weekly inspections, audits and EHS performance reviews.
- Support project teams with risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
- Coach and influence site teams to drive continuous improvement in EHS compliance.
- Build collaborative relationships with the wider project team to ensure safety is integrated into planning and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers and EHS documentation in line with project requirements.
About You
- Recognised EHS qualification (Degree/Diploma; NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred).
- 7 years’ experience in Health & Safety roles within construction.
- Background on large residential and/or commercial projects with a main contractor.
- Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and environmental best practice.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and database/reporting systems).
- A confident communicator who can influence teams and lead by example.
