Senior Electrical Engineer - OFCI - Finland

Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, M&E Engineer or Electrical Manager with data centre experience, ready to step into a client-facing OFCI leadership role in Finland? This opportunity will suit an experienced electrical professional who has worked on large-scale data centre or mission-critical construction projects and has been heavily involved in client-supplied equipment, vendor coordination, technical interfaces or package management, even if your job title to date hasn’t been OFCI Manager.

Based on site in Finland, this is a senior, technically focused role where you will take ownership of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) electrical packages on a major hyperscale data centre project, acting as the key link between the client, OFCI vendors and project delivery teams.

You’ll be joining Europe’s leading data centre delivery specialist, working on high-value, technically complex projects with a clear path for progression and an excellent expat package.

Who This Role Will Suit:

• Senior Electrical Engineers looking to move into a package or client-facing leadership role
  
  
• Electrical Project Engineers with strong vendor and interface management experience
  
  
• M&E Engineers or Electrical Managers working on data centre or mission-critical projects
  
  
• Engineers currently coordinating client-supplied electrical equipment or specialist vendor packages
  
  

OFCI Manager / Electrical Engineering Skills:

• 8 years’ experience working with an M&E or Electrical Contractor
  
  
• Qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent (essential)
  
  
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and data centre infrastructure
  
  
• Experience coordinating client-supplied or vendor-installed equipment
  
  
• Confident communicator, comfortable acting as the main interface with clients and vendors
  
  
• Ability to coordinate equipment with construction sequencing and project programmes
  
  
• Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Experience working on large-scale data centre projects is highly desirable
  
  
• Proficient in engineering and project systems software
  
  

As an OFCI Manager, You Will:

• Act as the technical and process lead for all OFCI electrical packages
  
  
• Manage and coordinate OFCI vendors to ensure equipment is engineered, delivered and installed in line with project requirements
  
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, OFCI vendors and internal project teams
  
  
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and report on OFCI package progress
  
  
• Ensure OFCI equipment is fully coordinated with construction works and programme milestones
  
  
• Support engineering, planning and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle
  
  
• Identify, escalate and mitigate technical, programme and commercial risks
  
  
• Maintain strict client security and confidentiality requirements
  
  
• Support final commissioning and handover to ensure successful project completion

• €90,000 – €100,000 salary (DOE)
