The Company
An Irish electrical contractor delivering projects across the healthcare, hospitality, commercial and high-end residential sectors throughout Cork and Kerry.
With a strong pipeline of electrical construction projects across Cork City, Cobh and Kinsale, they are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects and strengthen their Cork operations.
The Role: Senior Electrical Project Manager
This is a permanent position based in Cork City, Co Cork, managing electrical construction projects across Cork and the surrounding areas.
You will take responsibility for the delivery of multiple electrical packages, overseeing site teams, subcontractors, procurement, project programmes and commercial performance.
Working closely with clients, main contractors, consultants and the wider management team, you will ensure electrical installations are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
The position would suit an experienced Electrical Project Manager or a strong Electrical Site Manager or General Foreman ready to progress into senior project management. Ideally, you will be based in Cork or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong understanding of electrical installations, site management and programme delivery.
You will be commercially aware, organised and confident managing multiple projects while maintaining good working relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
The role would also suit an experienced Electrical Site Manager or Electrical General Foreman with the leadership and technical experience to progress into a senior project management position.

- Must have proven experience managing electrical installation works on construction projects.
- Strong background in electrical contracting, with an Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant electrical trade experience.
- Hands-on experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors, procurement and project programmes.
- Must be capable of managing multiple electrical projects and travelling between sites across Cork.
- Previous experience delivering electrical projects within the Irish construction industry, although strong international experience will also be considered.
- Experience across healthcare, hospitality, commercial or high-end residential developments.
- Strong understanding of electrical project budgets, cost control and commercial reporting.
- Experience managing electrical testing, commissioning and handover.
- Manage the delivery of multiple electrical construction projects across Cork.
- Oversee electrical installations from commencement through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate Site Managers, supervisors, engineers and subcontractors.
- Manage project programmes, resources, procurement and material requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, costs and commercial performance.
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants and internal management.
- Ensure electrical works meet quality, health and safety and programme requirements.
- Attend site meetings, report on progress and resolve technical or programme issues.
You are an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong understanding of electrical installations, site management and programme delivery.
