The Company
This international M&E contractor delivers major engineering projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe, with a significant pipeline of work in the European data centre sector.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for the electrical scope of a major data centre project in Germany, with a considerable portfolio of European work planned over the coming years.
The Role: Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial and contractual responsibility for the electrical package from the early stages of the project through to final account.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams, you will manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, cost control, forecasting, variations and client commercial matters throughout project delivery.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor with a strong M&E contracting background and the commercial confidence to take ownership of a significant electrical package.
You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients, subcontractors and senior project stakeholders while maintaining control of cost, change, risk and contractual matters.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within electrical or M&E contracting.
- Strong commercial and contractual management experience required.
- Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts required.
- Experience on data centre, mission-critical, life sciences or pharmaceutical projects required.
- European data centre project experience preferred.
- Strong electrical package knowledge beneficial.
- Experience dealing directly with client commercial and contract teams advantageous.
- Take responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of the electrical package.
- Act as a key commercial interface with the client and project stakeholders.
- Manage procurement, including electrical subcontractors.
- Carry out detailed cost control, forecasting and commercial risk analysis.
- Manage subcontractor valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Review contractual correspondence and identify commercially critical issues.
- Prepare project cost reports, margin forecasts and cashflow reports.
- Manage change control and negotiate costs with the client.
- Prepare and submit monthly valuations and certifications.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams.
- Drive the agreement of final accounts through project close-out.
You will be an experienced Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor with a strong M&E contracting background and the commercial confidence to take ownership of a significant electrical package.
You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients, subcontractors and senior project stakeholders while maintaining control of cost, change, risk and contractual matters.
