The Company
This international M&E contractor delivers major engineering projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe, with a significant pipeline of work in the European data centre sector.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark, with a considerable portfolio of European work planned over the coming years.
The Role: Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial and contractual responsibility for electrical packages on a major data centre project in Fredericia.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams, you will manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, cost control, forecasting, variations and client commercial matters throughout project delivery.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor with a strong M&E contracting background and the commercial confidence to take responsibility for major electrical packages.
You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients, subcontractors and project teams while maintaining control of cost, change, risk and contractual matters. Data centre experience would be particularly relevant for this position.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on electrical projects.
- Strong commercial and contractual management experience required.
- Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts required.
- Experience working on significant electrical construction projects required.
- Data centre project experience preferred.
- European construction experience beneficial.
- Strong electrical package knowledge and experience dealing directly with clients and subcontractors advantageous.
- Take responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of electrical packages.
- Manage procurement and commercial performance of electrical subcontractors.
- Carry out detailed cost control, forecasting and commercial risk analysis.
- Manage subcontractor valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Review contractual correspondence and identify commercially critical issues.
- Prepare project cost reports, margin forecasts and cashflow reports.
- Manage change control and negotiate costs with the client.
- Prepare and submit monthly valuations and certifications.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams.
- Drive the agreement of final accounts through project close-out.
You will be an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor with a strong M&E contracting background and the commercial confidence to take responsibility for major electrical packages.
You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients, subcontractors and project teams while maintaining control of cost, change, risk and contractual matters. Data centre experience would be particularly relevant for this position.
