Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day engineering function on site, overseeing setting out, dimensional control and technical coordination of civil engineering works.
- Lead and mentor Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers, ensuring engineering activities are completed accurately and in line with project requirements.
- Manage QA/QC procedures, including Inspection & Test Plans, as-built surveys, site records and the identification and close-out of non-conformances.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, design teams and subcontractors to resolve technical issues, manage RFIs and maintain programme progress.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in a Site Engineer role with a main contractor in Ireland.
- Strong technical knowledge of setting out using surveying equipment.
- Experience working on major civil engineering projects would be highly beneficial.
