This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join an established Irish Civil Engineering Contractor working on a significant civil infrastructure project in County Louth.
The project will give you solid technical exposure across major earthworks, road construction, drainage, utilities and associated civil works, making it particularly well suited to an Engineer who enjoys being hands on with the delivery of complex infrastructure.
One of the real attractions here is the way the contractor operates, they deliver a large proportion of their work through their own direct workforce, supported by experienced Civil
Engineers and an extensive fleet of modern plant and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day to day site engineering activities on key sections of the project, including supporting and mentoring junior engineers on site
- Take ownership of earthworks and road construction packages, ensuring delivery to the programme
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with specifications, quality standards and H&S requirements
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and design teams, as well as contributing to programme tracking, problem-solving and site decision making
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland
- Strong track record working on large scale civils or infrastructure projects
- Strong communication, coordination and organisational skills
