An excellent opportunity has come up for a Senior Engineer to join one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a major educational redevelopment in County Carlow.
The project involves the delivery of a substantial, modern education facility with a strong emphasis on quality, sustainability and creating a high spec learning environment.
As Senior Engineer, you’ll take a key role in the day-to-day technical and engineering delivery of the project, working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team.
You’ll gain greater exposure to programming, commercial awareness, procurement, temporary works, quality management and the overall coordination of a major construction project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in the engineering and technical delivery of a major education development, supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required.
- Coordinate setting out, surveying and technical activities, ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to plan upcoming works, monitor progress and identify activities with potential programme or cost implications.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers and assist with the procurement and delivery of packages required to maintain progress on site.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of Site Engineering experience in Ireland.
- Experience working on large-scale building projects would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach to project delivery.
The Package:
