This is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly regarded Tier 1 Main Contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across the country, particularly in the pharma and life sciences space.
They are about to break ground on a €multi-million new build pharma facility in Co. Westmeath and are now looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to take full ownership of the engineering function on site. It’s a flagship project with significant scale, top-tier subcontractors and a strong project team already in place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the engineering function on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to spec.
- Lead and coordinate all setting-out and surveying activities for groundworks, RC structures, steel frame, external works and specialist slabs.
- Manage ITPs, inspections, as-builts, reports, and ensure full compliance with project and client standards.
- Work closely with the Site Manager, PM, design team and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role on large commercial / industrial / life sciences projects in Ireland.
- Excellent knowledge of QA processes, documentation, and high-quality finish standards.
- Confident communicator with good leadership skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
